If your a food geek like me you are going to love this app. iMy Recipe takes your cookbook into the palm of your hand no matter where you are. This isn’t your grandmother’s cookbook either it has some really cool features that make organizing your recipes a breeze. One of my favorite features is the ability to build step by step directions along the way and add up to 10 pictures of the finished products. Then you can share it with your friends and they can share their recipes with you.
All of you recipes can be organized into categories so it easy to browse or find exactly what you are looking for. Did I mention it has unlimited timers? Great feature when you are cooking and have several different things going at once that you want to keep track of.
Having your recipes in your iPad is really convenient also if you over at someone’s house and want to whip up one of your favorite meals. The app is available in the iTunes store and costs $.99 to download. You can get iMyRecipe here.

As the back story goes that author was contacted by a 500 year old alien who has lived on the earth for over 3 decades and asked to write this book. Kind of a crazy story no doubt kind of reminds me of Conversations with God.
The book however whether you believe the back story or not is extremely though provoking. The 8 chapters are about relevant timely situations and the things revealed by the alien really make you think about these subjects in depth. This book makes you realize that in a world much bigger than us sometimes it is very hard for us to see the big picture. This is definetly a good read and whether you are into aliens or not if you like the idea of being enlightened you will still enjoy this book.
